70th Anniversary Jubilee Celebration

Sukhishvili, one of the most acclaimed dance companies in the world, returns to the United States to celebrate a triumphant 70 years of world-wide success for its performances before 50 million viewers in 100 countries in five continents.

The company astounds its audiences with its daring athleticism, unique choreography, elegant grace and superb authority of movement. They are inimitable!

These performances will consist of a company of fifty extraordinary dancers and musicians, all beautifully costumed, performing a thrilling program of dance and music representing the heart, emotion, will and tradition of Georgian culture.

The company has appeared at the Metropolitan Opera, Avery Fisher Hall, Madison Square Garden Albert Hall, the Rome Coliseum and La Scala where it received a record-breaking ovation and a record-setting number of curtain calls. It was a headline attraction with New York City Ballet for the George Balanchine Centennial. Sukhishvili was honored with a Gold Medal from Queen Elizabeth, and received "Best Show of the Year Award" for its limited Broadway run. The New York Times called them "Downright terrific"; the Washington Post exclaimed they are "First, Foremost, and Magnificent".
