Pianist Roman Rabinovich in Baltimore

Shriver Hall Concert Series’ 2016-17 season welcomes talanted Uzbek-born pianist Roman Rabinovich.  His playing is described as compelling and highly sensitive. Since winning the 12th Rubinstein Piano Master Competition, he has performed across the globe to great acclaim. 

Program includes:

  • Franz Joseph Haydn (1732-1809): Sonata in G major, Hob.XVI:39
  • Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827): Sonata No. 28 in A major, Op. 101
  • Michael Brown (b. 1987): Surfaces (Baltimore premiere, co-commissioned by SHCS)
  • Roman Rabinovich (b. 1985): Capriccio: A clown on the bicycle (Baltimore premiere)
  • Robert Schumann (1810-1856): Faschingsschwank aus Wien, Op. 26
